Azule Energy, a joint venture of Eni and bp and Angola’s largest independent equity producer of oil and gas, has let a contract to TechnipFMC to supply flexible pipe for its Ndungu project, offshore Angola.

Ndungu development will tie into Block 15/06 West Hub, where TechnipFMC in February was awarded a flexible pipe contract (OGJ Online, Feb. 28, 2023). Through this extension, the service provider was able to offer an optimized solution to enable Azule to maintain its schedule and achieve efficiencies, it said.

TechnipFMC values the contract somewhere between $75 and $250 million. The award was included in inbound orders in second-quarter 2023.
