Eni Angola lets contracts for Agogo Integrated West Hub development
Eni Angola SPA has let contracts for the Agogo Integrated West Hub development project in Block 15/06, offshore Angola.
The Agogo Integrated West Hub will produce hydrocarbons from Agogo and Ndungu fields via both the existing Ngoma FPSO and the new Agogo FPSO that will be operational from mid-2026, reaching a peak of production of 175,000 b/d.
The contracts have an overall value of around $7.8 billion and were awarded to:
- Yinson, for FPSO and field operations and maintenance services.
- Baker Hughes for subsea production system and aftermarket services.
- Aker Solutions for an umbilical system.
- Saipem, for rigid flowlines and subsea structure transportation and installation.
- Subsea 7, for risers, flowlines, and subsea structures transportation and installation.
- TechnipFMC, for risers and flowlines.
The project comprises 36 new wells (21 producers, 15 injectors), one converted FPSO with capacity for 120,000 bo/d, 230 MMscfd of gas injection, and 120,000 b/d of water injection. It will also entail about 100 km of rigid flowlines, 100 km of flexible flowlines, and 100 km of umbilicals.
Eni Angola is operator at Block 15/06 (36.84%). Partners are Sonangol P&P (36.84%) and SSI Fifteen Ltd. (26.32%). Eni Angola is a wholly owned subsidiary of Azule Energy, with bp and ENI sharing equal stakes in the business.
