Chevron lets platform contract for work offshore Angola

A Chevron unit has let a contract to Aquaterra Energy to design and support installation of a Sea Swift offshore platform solution for Lifua-A field in Block 0 off the coast of Angola.

The conductor supported platform will be designed and installed in 60 m of water. The modular design was chosen to minimize build and implementation time and will be fabricated in Cabinda, Angola. 

Chevron operates in Angola through its subsidiary Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Ltd. The company operates and has a 39.2% interest in Block 0.
