Equinor to drill Barents Sea exploration well in April

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit from the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in production license 532 in the Barents Sea. 

Exploration well 7220/7-CD-1 H is expected to be drilled with the Transocean Enabler semisubmersible drilling rig in April 2025.

Equinor is operator of the license with 46.3% interest. Partners are Vår Energi ASA (30%) and Petoro AS (23.7%).
