ConocoPhillips granted consent for North Sea exploration

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS has been granted consent by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway for exploration drilling of the Peder prospect in the North Sea.
Well 6507/4-3S will be drilled in production license (PL) 1064 by the Transocean Norge in 435.6 m of water. Expected drilling duration is 50.6 days if it’s a dry hole or 66.3 days if there is a discovery.
ConocoPhillips is operator of PL 1064 (40%) with partners PGNiG Upstream Norway AS (30%), Aker BP AS (20%), and Equinor Energy AS (10%).
