Equinor granted consent for Barents Sea exploration

Equinor Energy AS has been granted consent by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway for exploration drilling in Skavl Stø prospect in the Barents Sea.

Equinor Energy AS has been granted consent by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway for exploration drilling in Skavl Stø prospect in the Barents Sea.

Wells 7220/8-3 and 7220/8-U-3 pilot will be drilled in production license (PL) 532 by the Transocean Enabler in 352 m of water.

Equinor is operator of PL 532 (50%) with partners Petoro AS (20%) and Vår Energi (30%).
