ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for an exploration well in the Norwegian Sea (OGJ Online, Mar. 6, 2022).
Well 6507/4-3 S will be drilled by the Transocean Norge semisubmersible drilling rig in production license 1064 in August.
ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS is operator with 40% interest. Partners are PGNiG Upstream Norway AS 30%, Aker BP ASA 20%, and Equinor Energy AS 10%.
