Aker BP ASA has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the North Sea.
Exploration well 30/11-16 S will be drilled by Odfjell Drilling’s Deepsea Stavanger semisubmersible rig in production license 873.
Aker BP is operator of the license with 47.7% interest. Partners are Equinor Energy AS (40%) and ORLEN Upstream Norway AS (12.3%).
