Equinor granted North Sea drilling permit

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in production license 090 in the North Sea.

Exploration well 35/11-30 S is expected to be drilled in September with Odfjell Drilling AS’s Deepsea Atlantic semisubmersible rig.

Equinor Energy AS is operator with 45% interest. Partners are Vår Energi ASA with 40% and INPEX Idemitsu Norge AS with 15%.
