Petrobras has let a presalt subsea production system and related services contract to SLB’s OneSubsea joint venture for Atapu and Sepia fields in Santos basin offshore Brazil.
As part of the second development of the fields, SLB OneSubsea will provide the Petrobras-standard configured, presalt vertical trees, subsea distribution units, subsea control and pipeline systems, along with related installation, commissioning, and life-of-field services.
Much of the technology and equipment to be deployed, including the vertical trees and subsea control systems, will be produced and serviced at SLB OneSubsea’s facilities in Brazil.
These projects add to Petrobras’ material presalt investments and will enable the addition of P-84 (Atapu) and P-85 (Sepia) floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) platforms, each with production capacity of 225,000 bo/d and gas processing of 10 million cu m/d.
