PAO Novatek increased its quarterly hydrocarbon production by 4.4 MMboe (2.8%) year-on-year, reaching 163.3 MMboe in this year’s second quarter.
The total includes 20.60 billion cu m (bcm) of natural gas and 3.4 million tonnes of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil).
The company’s hydrocarbon production totaled 330.7 MMboe in first-half 2024, including 41.73 bcm of natural gas and 6.8 million tonnes of liquids. The total is an increase of 8.8 MMboe (2.7%) compared with first-half 2023.
Preliminary total natural gas sales volumes, including volumes of LNG sold, in second-quarter 2024 and first-half 2024 aggregated 17.83 and 39.30 bcm, respectively, resulting in a decrease of 2.6% and 3.3% as compared with second-quarter 2023 and first-half 2023.
Preliminary total sales volumes of liquid hydrocarbons in this year’s second quarter and this year’s first half aggregated 4.0 and 8.3 million tonnes, which was 2.5% and 7.0% higher than in second-quarter 2023 and first-half 2023.
At June 30, 2024, Novatek had 0.8 bcm of natural gas, including LNG, and 1.5 million tonnes of stable gas condensate and petroleum products in storage or transit and recognized as inventory.
