Aker BP ASA has been granted a permit to drill an exploration well in the North Sea.

Aker BP ASA has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill an exploration well in the North Sea.

Well 35/6-5 S, in production license 1110, will be drilled in July by Odfjell Drilling AS’s Deepsea Nordkapp semisubmersible rig in July.

Aker BP is operator of the license with 55% interest. Partners are Vår Energi ASA (30%) and Wintershall Dea Norge AS (15%).
