Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the North Sea.
Exploration well 31/1-4, in production license 923 B, is expected to be drilled by Odfjell Drilling AS’s Deepsea Atlantic semisubmersible in August.
Equinor is operator of the license with 60% interest. Partners are DNO Norge AS (20%) and Petoro AS (20%).
