ADNOC lets contracts worth $1.94 billion

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) has let framework agreements totaling $1.94 billion for wireline logging and perforation services to support production growth.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) has let framework agreements totaling $1.94 billion for wireline logging and perforation services to ADNOC Drilling Co. PJSC, Schlumberger Middle East SA, Haliburton Worldwide Ltd. Abu Dhabi, and Weatherford Bin Hamoodah Co. LLC.

The awards cover the operator’s onshore and offshore fields and are expected to enable drilling growth and boost crude oil production to a targeted 5 million b/d (OGJ Online, Nov. 5, 2018). The awards will run for 5 years with an option for a further 2 years.

ADNOC Drilling’s award share is the largest and covers cased hole and open hole services as well as perforations.

In November 2021, ADNOC invested almost $6 billion for procurement awards to contractors for wellheads and related components, downhole completion equipment and related services, and liner hangers and cementing accessories.
