Saudi Aramco has suspended operations for Shelf Drilling Ltd.’s High Island IV jackup drilling rig off Saudi Arabia for up to 12 months. Shelf Drilling, in a June 15 release, reported receiving notification that the suspension at zero dayrate will be effective upon completion of work currently in progress and will automatically extend the term of the contract for a period equal to the suspension period.
