Well 6604/5-2 S—the third to be drilled in the license—will be drilled from the Saipem's Scarabeo 8 semisubmersible drilling rig 120 km southwest of Aasta Hansteen field after concluding drilling of well 6604/6-1 for Wintershall (OGJ Online, Nov. 26, 2019).
Wintershall is operator with 40% interest. Partners are Equinor Energy AS 40% and Petoro AS 20%.
The area in the license consists of part of Block 6604/5.
