Par Pacific names new CEO

Par Pacific Holdings has appointed Will Monteleone to assume the role of president and CEO later this year.

Par Pacific Holdings Inc., Houston, has appointed Will Monteleone to assume the role of president and chief executive officer following the retirement of current chief executive officer William Pate at the upcoming annual shareholders’ meeting in May.

Monteleone currently serves as president and has been with Par Pacific for more than 10 years. Pate and Monteleone will each continue to serve as members of the company’s board of directors.

Par Pacific Holdings provides renewable and conventional fuels to the western US. In the Pacific Northwest and the Rockies, Par Pacific owns and operates 125,000 b/d of combined refining capacity across three locations, including 7.6 million bbl of storage, and marine, rail, rack, and pipeline assets. The company owns and operates 94,000 b/d of operating refining capacity in Hawaii, and owns 46% of Laramie Energy LLC, a natural gas production company with operations and assets concentrated in Western Colorado.
